Why use Steel?

Steel frames have been produced for over 50 years and have largely serviced the premium end of the building industry for most of this time due to their higher cost.

With the price of timber increasing dramatically in recent years, timber frames are no longer the cheap option for builders.

Steel frames with their significant advantages over timber are now priced competitively with timber and in many cases are lower in total cost (supply, installation and ongoing protection costs.)
